In an exciting collaboration, the iconic reality series Survivor has teamed up with popular beauty brand e.l.f. Cosmetics to launch a series of engaging vignettes titled “The e.l.f.ie Advantage.” Featuring creator and comedian Delaney Rowe alongside Tiffany Ervin, a contestant from Survivor Season 50, the campaign showcases a selection of e.l.f.’s standout products, turning the spotlight on the intersection of beauty and competition.
The vignettes, which made their debut during the live finale on 20 May, depict Rowe as she guides female contestants, both past and present, through the essential e.l.f. products that could give them an edge on and off the competition stage. This creative approach posits that enhancing one’s confidence with beauty products may well rival traditional strategies for success in the high-stakes world of reality television.

Speaking after the finale, Rowe expressed her enthusiasm for the crossover between her humour-driven content and the gameplay of Survivor. “When I heard about the Survivor-inspired concept, it immediately resonated with me,” she explained. “Working with e.l.f., a brand that emphasises entertainment just as much as beauty, allowed me to bring my comedic energy to life in a fun way.”
Among the featured products in “The e.l.f.ie Advantage” are the Power Grip Primer, Suntouchable Whoa Glow sunscreen, and Camo Concealer. Offered as a bundle, these items are designed to aid contestants in overcoming various challenges, from keeping their makeup intact to safeguarding their skin against sun exposure.
Rowe’s personal favourite is the Power Grip Primer, which she jokingly claimed to have “stolen” after trying it. “It makes everything feel locked in and of high quality, even amid a chaotic environment,” she remarked. However, she stressed the importance of sunscreen, stating, “SPF is a must for me, especially if I’m on an island all day pretending to build a shelter.”
The campaign extended beyond the vignettes, with e.l.f. also hosting an engaging red carpet event for the Survivor 50 finale. Here, Rowe conducted interviews with previous contestants and winners, gathering insights and perspectives on “The e.l.f.ie Advantage” products. Amongst her interviewees were Ervin, Michele Fitzgerald, the winner of Season 32, and Dee Valladares, who secured victory in Season 45.
Rowe described the evening as a “reality TV fan’s dream,” highlighting the camaraderie and shared experiences among the women who have faced the rigours of the show. During the discussions, contestants shared the beauty products they missed most upon returning from the show and even contemplated which e.l.f. products they would consider worthy of an immunity idol.
Reflecting on the experience of collaborating with Ervin, Rowe noted, “It felt less like a typical collaboration and more like spending time with a close friend.” The bond they formed, combined with the excitement of working on set, made for an unforgettable experience.
As a dedicated fan of Survivor, Rowe relished the opportunity to engage with such influential female figures from the show. “Seeing these iconic personalities gathered in one space made me appreciate the strong connections within the Survivor community,” she shared.
Although Rowe enjoyed integrating e.l.f. products into her time on set, the prospect of competing on the actual Survivor series presents its own set of challenges. “I would love to be on Survivor; it’s the ultimate challenge,” she stated. “However, I probably wouldn’t be able to take my e.l.f. advantage with me to an island, which certainly changes the strategy.”
In her candid remarks, Rowe demonstrated both admiration for the world of Survivor and a genuine passion for the products she promoted through the collaboration. The pairing of e.l.f. Cosmetics with such a beloved television series reflects a creative venture that resonates with fans of both beauty and reality TV, enriching the narrative around competition and self-expression in a unique way. As Rowe herself hopes for a chance to compete, the campaign has elevated the ways in which beauty and confidence intertwine in the quest for victory.
