Each sister pursued a distinct field of study at CSU Channel Islands, making their graduation all the more special. Whitley specialised in psychology, Jasmine focused on political science, and Ashleigh dedicated her studies to anthropology. The diversity in their academic backgrounds highlights not only their individual strengths but also their shared commitment to higher education.
Reflecting on their time at university, Jasmine noted the profound impact CSU Channel Islands has had on their lives. “Our time at CSUCI will always be the foundation of our academic journey,” she remarked, emphasising the significance of the supportive faculty, enriching campus experiences, and valuable research opportunities they encountered. According to Jasmine, the last four years have been a period of significant personal growth. She expressed gratitude for the chance to interact with a variety of individuals, cultivate relationships with professors, and engage in challenging coursework that spurred her to reach her full potential.

The sisters also fondly remembered participating in lively campus events, such as Dolphinpalooza, which featured games and food trucks, enriching their university experience through social engagement. “We loved them so much,” the sisters enthused, illustrating the joy and camaraderie they shared during their time at CSUCI.
As they embark on the next chapter of their lives, they will be navigating different paths for the first time. Jasmine has set her sights on obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Administration and aims to join the Peace Corps. Following her international service, her ambition is to pursue a law degree with aspirations of becoming either a civil rights or constitutional attorney.
Whitley has her own plans in place, intending to further her education with a Master’s degree to ultimately work as a school psychologist. This profession aligns with her dedication to support and guide young learners as they navigate their educational journeys.
Ashleigh, meanwhile, is preparing for a graduate programme focused on biological and forensic anthropology. She dreams of becoming a forensic anthropologist, a role that combines her interests in science and legal studies. She will be continuing her education at Cal State Los Angeles, while both Jasmine and Whitley will attend California Baptist University.
The graduation of the Williams sisters serves as a reminder of the unique bonds formed during university days and the opportunities that lie ahead. Their individual journeys, while separate, are rooted in shared experiences and family support, marking a new chapter filled with potential and promise.
As they move forward into their respective careers and studies, Whitley, Jasmine, and Ashleigh Williams remain a strong reminder of the power of education and the importance of pursuing one’s passion. While they may be charting their paths individually, the sisters will undoubtedly carry the memories and lessons learned from CSU Channel Islands along with them wherever they go.
