The couple’s whirlwind journey began when they tied the knot in May 2025, commencing with a civil ceremony in Monaco. This was followed by a traditional Nigerian wedding in Dubai and a church ceremony in Iceland, showcasing their unique cultural backgrounds. Otedola detailed this exciting chapter, stating, “After wrapping up three weddings… we wanted to end the year with a two-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon, travelling across Korea and Japan. That’s when we found out!”

Since receiving the joyous news, Otedola has taken a step back to embrace the quieter pace of pregnancy. “It’s been the greatest news to share,” she commented on revealing the pregnancy to family and friends. With loved ones spread across the globe, the couple opted for personal touches, often surprising them with ultrasound printouts. Otedola also used her 30th birthday celebration in Mallorca as an opportunity to share the happy news with her closest friends.
While the couple has decided to keep the gender of their baby private for now, they are already engaged in discussions over potential names. “My husband and I send each other names all the time on WhatsApp,” she revealed. Additionally, they have sought name suggestions from their parents, aligning with Nigerian tradition.
Reflecting on her pregnancy journey so far, Otedola mentioned that the initial trimester proved challenging. “For the first trimester, I was really feeling the fatigue and morning sickness (well, all-day sickness),” she explained. As her pregnancy progresses, however, she is beginning to feel “stronger and more energised,” appreciating the physical changes and developments.
Emphasising the importance of the slowing down that comes with pregnancy, Otedola said, “I love how pregnancy forces you to slow down. I’ve been gradually slowing down my routine, prioritising my goals and looking inward.” She highlighted that this time also provides a beautiful opportunity to connect with loved ones and celebrate the impending arrival of their little one.
Both Otedola and Mr Eazi express excitement as they prepare for this significant new chapter in their lives. The couple, who have been together for several years, view parenthood as a natural progression of their relationship. “We are beyond excited to start our family and welcome a little one to our cocoon of two. We’re feeling extremely blessed and grateful for this big next step!” Otedola exclaimed.
As they navigate the joys and challenges of impending parenthood together, the couple remains focused on creating a nurturing environment for their child. Their story resonates with many, embodying the universal themes of love, family, and new beginnings. With so much to look forward to, Otedola and Mr Eazi are undoubtedly ready to embark on this exciting journey that lies ahead.
