Vertes, who gained fame as a contestant on the reality television series Dance Moms, expressed a strong desire to become a member of the Cowboys’ elite cheerleading squad. She revealed her willingness to consider a return to reality TV if it involved dancing for the cheerleaders, who are currently featured in Netflix’s series America’s Sweethearts. “I feel like I’m destined to be a DCC cheerleader one day. You know my mum would love that too,” she said with a laugh, referring to her mother, Jill Vertes, who was a prominent figure on Dance Moms from its second to seventh season.
Reflecting on her future in dance, Vertes discussed her evolving relationship with the profession during a podcast episode aired on April 30, 2026. While speaking with fellow Dance Moms alum Chloe Lukasiak, Vertes shared her thoughts on pursuing opportunities in the NFL. “I thought about doing NFL dancing, but again… now that there’s reality television shows surrounding it, do I really want to go back down that alley?” she pondered. Nevertheless, she expressed confidence in her ability to make dance a significant part of her life moving forward. “I don’t think I’m done with dance just yet. That would be my closure,” she emphasised, indicating that her passion for dance remains strong.

She clarified that while she has experience with reality TV, she does not want her involvement to be misconstrued as a desire for fame. “I’m used to it. I just wouldn’t want the viewers to think that I’m doing it to stay in the spotlight. It would be for me and my love for dance. And of course, it just so happens to be that there’s a TV show around it,” she articulated.
