The ‘Ambition’ ship had been docked in Bordeaux, France, after around 50 passengers reported symptoms associated with viral gastroenteritis, commonly caused by norovirus. The outbreak prompted authorities to conduct an investigation on board before allowing the vessel to sail again. The clearance was granted after the French health authorities deemed the situation under control.
