Kylie Jenner, the well-known beauty mogul and reality television star, is facing a lawsuit from a former housekeeper who has alleged serious mistreatment during her employment. The plaintiff, Juana Delgado Soto, claims she experienced racial discrimination, harassment, and wage violations while working for Jenner at her home.

The lawsuit, reported by the Los Angeles Times, outlines various grievances stemming from Soto’s time with the celebrity, which began in 2019. According to the court documents, Soto alleges that her working conditions deteriorated significantly in 2023 when a new supervisor, Itzel Sibrian, took command. She described instances where her basic rights, including access to restroom facilities and meal breaks, were denied, and she was not allowed to drink water while on the job.

Soto asserts that she made an official complaint to the human resources department concerning her treatment, which she says included Sibrian mocking her accent and immigration status. Following her report in 2024, a brief removal of Sibrian from her position took place, but the supervisor was reinstated shortly thereafter. Soto subsequently claims to have faced retaliation, which included a reduction in her pay and an increase in her workload.
Among the more distressing allegations in the lawsuit, Soto states that she missed important personal events, including a surprise birthday celebration, as she was forced to cover for Jenner during a dinner. Furthermore, she describes how her colleagues allegedly dismissed her grief over her brother’s death, even suggesting she was lying about it and forcing her to pick up litter that they intentionally discarded.
In April 2025, Soto reportedly attempted to contact Jenner directly in a bid to address her frustrations. She left a letter detailing her experiences on Jenner’s massage table before an appointment, where she expressed the mental abuse she felt was prevalent in the household. After submitting the letter, she claims to have been threatened with termination, with directives that she should avoid contact with Jenner altogether.
The alleged treatment continued with claims of restricted access to bathrooms, being assigned to clean a doghouse, and an explicit ban on drinking water from what Soto refers to as “Kylie’s water.” Distressed by the ongoing situation, she ultimately sent a text message resigning from her position in August 2025, stating that the mistreatment had taken a severe toll on her mental health.
Representatives for Kylie Jenner have refrained from making any comments regarding the lawsuit. The allegations have sparked significant media interest, and observers are keenly following developments in this case.
Soto’s case is not an isolated incident, as another former housekeeper, Angelica Vazquez, has also filed suit against Jenner, alleging hostility and exclusion during her employment. Both lawsuits highlight serious concerns regarding workplace treatment and labour practices within the celebrity’s household.
Attorney Della Shaker, who is representing Soto, underscores the gravity of these allegations, stressing the need for accountability in such high-profile cases. The spotlight on Jenner not only raises questions about her management of household staff but also reflects broader issues of workplace rights and treatment of employees.
As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Jenner and her legal team will respond to these allegations in court, and whether these lawsuits will prompt changes in how celebrities manage their households and treat their staff.
