Nick Jonas, the well-known singer-songwriter and actor, has embarked on a new venture by partnering with Schick to launch its ‘Do Right By Your Skin’ campaign. The initiative aims to highlight the brand’s longstanding commitment to skin care, reshaping perceptions surrounding shaving within the realm of personal grooming.

The partnership is more than just a promotional effort; it seeks to redefine shaving as a critical aspect of a skin-care routine. Jonas steps into the role with a strong understanding of the message, emphasising that grooming is about more than mere aesthetics. “Living most of my life in the public eye and attending numerous red carpet events, I recognise the significance of a good shave in feeling confident,” he shares. “I have seen its impact throughout various stages of my personal and professional life, making this campaign particularly meaningful.”
Entering the public eye at a young age, Jonas made his Broadway debut when he was just nine years old. Reflecting on his grooming journey, he recalls starting to pay attention to his appearance at the age of 13. “Initially, my routine was quick and easy, but I’ve since become more intentional about my choices as I’ve matured,” Jonas notes.
With two decades of shaving experience to draw upon, the musician has developed a keen sense of what products work best for his skin. Among his current favourites are Schick’s Hydro and Xtreme razors. In the campaign, he highlights the Hydro razor, which features aloe and pro-vitamin B5, saying, “I actually just used it to clean up my neck, which is lovely.”
Jonas describes his morning routine as straightforward yet effective. After showering to energise himself, he incorporates various grooming practices to prepare for the day ahead. “Alongside shaving, I enjoy a few spritzes of cologne,” he explains. He discreetly acknowledges past missteps in fragrance choices but believes he has found a balance that suits his personal style. “It’s essential to choose a scent that complements you without overpowering the room,” he adds.
In his grooming arsenal, Jonas also includes hair care products and eye patches, which he deems a “hack” for masking tiredness after a restless night. He candidly admits, “When you feel like you haven’t had enough sleep, they can work wonders.” Alongside skin care, Jonas maintains his nails, a practice he attributes to advice from his mother during his childhood. “She always emphasised the importance of looking after your nails, saying ‘Girls like guys with nice nails,’ and I took that to heart,” he recalls.
Although he doesn’t indulge excessively in personal treatments, Jonas does take time to pamper himself with spa days, enjoying the occasional facial or lymphatic massage. “It’s a nice way to treat myself,” he says, acknowledging the benefits of such experiences.
When it comes to overall wellness, Jonas places significant value on staying hydrated, especially while touring. “We have branded water bottles that help keep track of daily fluid intake, and I aim to finish one every day, though I don’t always succeed,” he admits.
As one of the Jonas brothers, he feels he has a competitive edge in grooming tips and candidly states, “I may be biased, but I believe I have the best advice to offer.” He appreciates the unique grooming needs of each brother but maintains it’s important to find what works individually.
Jonas fervently advocates for men to engage in conversations about self-care, which he believes includes shaving and sun protection. “I’m excited to collaborate with Schick to foster this dialogue,” he reveals. “Their products have been essential in many people’s lives for years, and I look forward to showcasing this timeless message in the campaign.”
As the campaign gains momentum, Jonas hopes it will encourage men to embrace grooming as a form of self-care. With his influence, the singer aims to normalise discussions surrounding men’s grooming and foster a greater appreciation for investing time in self-presentation.
In an age where self-care is often overlooked, Nick Jonas’ collaboration with Schick serves as a reminder that personal grooming is not simply a ritual—it’s a confident statement about self-worth and care.
