The collection of stuffed toys was first introduced to the United States in 1947, where they were displayed at E.P. Dutton, A.A. Milne’s American publisher. In 1987, these beloved characters were gifted to the New York Public Library, where they have been on permanent and free display at the Polonsky Exhibition, allowing visitors from around the globe to enjoy them. The collection includes iconic figures such as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, and Kanga; however, Roo was notably absent until now.
The replica of Roo has been specially made by Merrythought, the same esteemed toy manufacturer that created Christopher Robin’s original set of plush companions.
