One Child of La. Mass Family Murderer Survived by Jumping Off Roof

According to reports, the sequence of events began when Elkins first fired upon a woman on Harrison Street, before moving to the West 79th Street residence, where he opened fire on the children. It has been reported that his wife was also shot during this horrifying episode.
