In an encouraging sign for wildlife conservation, a rare “cloud jaguar” has been photographed in the Sierra del Merendón mountains in Honduras, marking the first sighting of its kind in the region for ten years. This sighting, which occurred on February 6, was captured by research cameras positioned at an altitude of approximately 7,218 feet, showcasing the resilience and adaptability of this elusive species.
