On April 11, she expressed her relief at finally returning home after an arduous 18-day stay. “What began as a suspected stomach bug escalated into a significant health issue,” Selfridge wrote, conveying both her admiration for her daughter and her gratitude to the medical staff.
The post featured images of Maya celebrating Easter in the hospital—drinking milkshakes and engaging in games. “My baby is a fighter, the strongest little human ever,” Selfridge declared, emphasising Maya’s resilience. Maya’s health struggles are not new to the family; she was born in June 2020 with tricuspid atresia, which arises when the tricuspid valve fails to develop correctly. The reality star first made mention of Maya’s hospital stay when fans noticed her absence from social media platforms.
