The allegations against Fisler revolve around claims made by a former student, who is now an adult. The purported incidents reportedly occurred in 2021 while she was employed as a teacher at Orchard Valley Middle School. According to police reports, the alleged sexual encounters took place both in Fisler’s car and within the school’s premises.

The allegations first came to light when the victim approached law enforcement in January 2026, detailing the encounters. In a statement released by the prosecutor’s office, it was confirmed that the victim’s statement triggered an investigation, which involved a forensic examination of digital devices belonging to the alleged victim. This investigation uncovered numerous text messages between the two individuals, suggesting a sexual relationship.
Further findings revealed that multiple nude photographs of Fisler had been sent to the victim, adding weight to the claims against her. In response to these allegations, Fisler has publicly denied any wrongdoing and has asserted her innocence in a statement issued to authorities.
Fisler is scheduled to make her initial court appearance on March 27. Should she be convicted of the first-degree charges, she could face a substantial prison sentence of up to 20 years for each count. For the second-degree charges, the potential sentence could extend to 10 years each, according to the prosecutors involved in the case.
As of now, Fisler has not been affiliated with Orchard Valley Middle School since April 2023, following the emergence of these serious allegations. The school community and authorities are taking the matter with the utmost seriousness, considering the sensitive nature of the claims.
The case highlights ongoing concerns regarding the safety and welfare of students within educational institutions. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office encourages anyone who may have experienced similar situations or knows someone who has been a victim of sexual abuse to seek help. Additional support can be accessed through dedicated services such as the Crisis Text Line, available for those in need.
As the legal proceedings unfold, the community awaits further developments while recognising the gravity of the accusations made against Fisler. These allegations serve as a reminder of the responsibilities that educators hold and the potential impact their actions can have on students’ lives.
