A local man from the Bronx is urgently seeking the safe return of his four beloved bulldogs, who went missing while in the care of a dog walker he had trusted for several years. Eusebio Baez has reported that his French bulldogs—named Churro, Mocha, and Rosie—and his American bulldog, Banksy, vanished after the walker claimed he had dropped them off safely at the owner’s apartment.

Baez’s ordeal began last weekend when he left the dogs with the walker while travelling out of state. On Sunday, March 22, he received a troubling phone call from the walker, stating that the dogs were no longer in his possession. When Baez pressed for clarification, the walker insisted he had returned the pets the previous day. However, upon returning home to Riverdale, Baez found no sign of his dogs, including their leashes and harnesses.

Compounding worries about the situation, Baez provided text messages from the dog walker, suggesting he might have experienced a seizure and was also looking for the missing dogs.

“Things are not adding up, and my dogs are still missing at the end of the day,” Baez expressed in an interview with NBC New York, voicing his fear that the dogs may have been sold. As of now, law enforcement has not filed any charges against the dog walker.

As authorities continue their investigation, Baez has taken matters into his own hands by launching an extensive search for his dogs.
