Paige Thalia, who recently moved back to Los Angeles after a lengthy trip across Europe in a camper van, embarked on a quest for an affordable rug, but ended up with a slice of Hollywood history instead.

Prior to the prestigious awards show, Thalia had noticed the installation of lavish red carpets at the Dolby Theatre. Although she had previously kept a small piece of carpet from a post-Oscars event nearly a decade ago, she hoped to find another scrap once the celebration concluded. Thalia expressed her excitement, stating, “I want to turn it into a long-lasting rug that blends my style with a touch of Hollywood glamour.” The red carpet has now transformed from something discarded into the focal point of her music area, which she had been curating for some time.
