Alan and Bernita Davies have each received an eight-year prison sentence after admitting to causing or allowing the death of their 32-year-old daughter, Steffie Davies. The tragic case highlights severe neglect, as Steffie was found dead in their Wrexham home in May 2023, having wasted away to just 79 lbs.

The Davises, both aged 60, were sentenced at Mold Crown Court following their guilty plea to the charges. Initially, they faced more serious allegations of gross negligence manslaughter.
