A primary school teacher has captured the internet’s heart by involving her second-grade class in her wedding preparations, prompting some delightfully innocent and insightful marriage advice from her young students. Klarissa Trevino, a 26-year-old teacher, recently shared the responses from her class on TikTok, where they quickly gained viral status.

Trevino, who has been teaching for three years, was keen to create a meaningful connection with her students as she planned for her upcoming nuptials. Seeking a unique way to involve her pupils, she settled on the idea of asking them to share their best pieces of advice on marriage.
“I always wanted to include them in my wedding in some special way,” Trevino explained in an interview. “After seeing other teachers engage their students in similar activities, I thought it would be wonderful to have all my students contribute.” Trevino ensured that the activity did not interfere with class time by scheduling it for a day filled with school-wide events.

Initially, she believed that only her friends would view it, but the video resonated with a much larger audience. “I was astonished by how quickly it took off and how many people adored it,” she added. “These kids are only 7 or 8 years old and were providing some remarkable advice for their age.”
