A 27-year-old man has been charged with the aggravated manslaughter of his five-week-old daughter, following a tragic incident that resulted in her death in December 2024. Dajuan Patrick, from Jacksonville, Florida, was taken into custody on March 10, 2024, after a warrant was issued by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office (VSO).

The investigation into the unfortunate death of his daughter, Dahlia Siebenhaar, began when she was admitted to hospital on December 2, 2024, reportedly unresponsive and suffering from severe injuries. According to officials, Patrick’s little girl remained unconscious and was placed on life support. Tragically, after ten days, life support was withdrawn, resulting in Dahlia’s death on December 12, 2024.

The subsequent investigation revealed disturbing details, with detectives believing that Patrick may have “shaken and spanked” his daughter, leading to the tragic outcome.
