Kylie Jenner, the well-known reality television star and entrepreneur, has expressed a desire to broaden her horizons by pursuing acting roles following her recent appearance in Charli XCX’s whimsical mockumentary ‘The Moment’. The film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, showcases Jenner in a light-hearted setting alongside the pop star. In a revealing interview with Vanity Fair, Jenner suggested that she is keen to explore further acting opportunities.

In her cover story for the magazine, Jenner reflected on the experiences she has had so far and indicated a strong interest in comedic roles. “I’ve actually gotten a few scripts, nothing that I feel is right yet, but I 100% want to do more,” she stated. This bold declaration hints at a potential transition from reality television star to a more prominent figure in Hollywood.

In ‘The Moment’, directed by Aidan Zamiri, Jenner portrays a fictionalised version of herself in a humorous scene set at a spa in Ibiza. Her character, seemingly indifferent to Charli XCX’s struggles with fame, encourages the pop star to pursue greater exposure. Jenner crafted her cameo as a joke, presenting the idea to Zamiri, which ultimately led to her being integrated into the script. “I felt like it was a comfortable avenue for me because I knew him, I know Charli, and I felt like for my first thing, this would be the perfect fit,” she explained.
The filming experience appears to have resonated with Jenner, who described it as both enjoyable and effortless. Charli XCX, speaking at a Q&A following a screening of the film, supported this sentiment, noting that working with Jenner was “so fun” and that she brought a playful energy to the role.
In addition to her work in ‘The Moment’, Jenner has been involved in various other projects, including music videos and voice acting roles in well-known shows and films like ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘Trolls Holiday in Harmony’. This diverse portfolio illustrates her evolving presence in the entertainment industry, a landscape she is eager to navigate further.
Amidst her ambitions in acting, Jenner also remains focused on her personal life. She has been in a relationship with Oscar-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet since April 2023, often seen supporting him at public events. Their partnership has drawn considerable attention in the media, adding another layer to Jenner’s dynamic public persona.
In her Vanity Fair interview, Jenner articulated her priorities, stating that as she approaches the latter part of her 20s, she wants to shift her focus onto personal growth, family, and her business ventures. She shares two children, Stormi and Aire, with her former partner, rapper Travis Scott, and has openly mentioned her desire to expand her family in the future.
“My work, travelling with my kids, enjoying my kids, these are what matter most to me right now,” she said when discussing her future aspirations. This balance between her family life and potential career shift indicates a thoughtful and deliberate approach to the next stages of her life.
‘The Moment’ was released in cinemas on January 30, following its Sundance premiere, and has been met with excitement from fans and critics alike. With Jenner’s aspirations laid out, it seems the entertainment world may soon see more of her comedic talent and charisma on screen. As she navigates this new chapter, it will be intriguing to witness how her journey in acting further unfolds.
