She explained that her son was returning to the Ronald McDonald House in Brisbane after a grueling 12-hour night shift in Tweed Heads. Jaylen and his partner, Mikayla Hansen, have been staying at the house while their daughter undergoes surgeries.
The devastating crash occurred when another driver, reportedly travelling in the wrong direction at over 60 mph, collided head-on with Jaylen’s utility vehicle. “As the photos show, it is nothing short of a miracle that he survived,” said Katrina, who shared images of her son’s vehicle, left mangled and unrecognisable after the accident.
