A 57-year-old man has received a life sentence for the murder of his partner, 41-year-old Stephanie Blundell, in Chester, England. Tony Devenport was convicted following a disturbing incident that unfolded in July 2025, culminating in Blundell’s tragic death, which was discovered by her own father.

Philip Blundell, Stephanie’s father, was the first to find Devenport wandering their home in a disoriented state, saying, “I think she’s dead.” Authorities reported that her lifeless body was found on a blood-stained mattress, showing numerous severe injuries and contusions.
