In a statement shared with PEOPLE, Bertinelli expressed her appreciation for her fans, stating, “My relationship with my fans has always meant everything to me.” She added that Valerie’s Place is an opportunity for her to share her passions and develop new content that resonates on a personal level. “This platform gives me the freedom to create it for myself and engage with my fans in a meaningful way,” she remarked, revealing her immense excitement for this next chapter of her career.
The highly anticipated platform is set to launch on Wednesday, 25th February, and will feature a delightful array of cooking shows. One of the highlights is Reheated: Valerie’s Home Cooking, where Bertinelli and her longtime producer Sophie Clark will revisit classic recipes and episodes from her popular series, offering fans a glimpse behind the scenes along with nostalgic culinary tips.

In addition to the nostalgic content, Bertinelli will introduce Now Val’s Cooking, a new format that allows her to prepare dishes she has never filmed before. This includes recipes from her forthcoming cookbook, Indulge, that is scheduled for release in 2024. The platform also features Now We’re Cooking, which invites VP Preferred and VP VIP members to cook alongside Bertinelli, engaging them in real-time with the opportunity to comment and ask questions as they follow her culinary lead.
Another intriguing show, Meals for One, focuses on creating special meals for individuals. Bertinelli aims to highlight the importance of cooking for oneself, advocating that solo meals are worthy of the same care and attention as those prepared for family and friends.

The content on Valerie’s Place will not be limited to cooking shows alone. In mid-March, Bertinelli plans to expand her offerings with a podcast titled Getting Naked: The Podcast. This series, which shares its name with her forthcoming memoir, will feature candid discussions on a variety of topics, including personal growth, creativity, and authenticity.
Furthermore, the Superfan Supper Club is launching next month, providing a unique opportunity for VP VIP members to join Bertinelli on camera, creating an engaging and interactive experience. Adding to her programming, Val’s Book Club, set to debut in late April, will feature a new reading selection every other month, enhancing her connection to her audience through literature.
Bertinelli’s upcoming memoir, also titled Getting Naked, delves into her personal experiences of aging, love, and starting anew. According to her publisher, William Morrow, the book addresses the insecurities she has battled throughout her life, including struggles with body image and striving for perfection. Reflecting on the memoir, Bertinelli shared her mixed feelings: “I’m excited if not a little nervous because this book is almost uncomfortably personal.” She hopes the memoir resonates with readers, helping them to navigate their own challenges.
Developed in collaboration with Visible Things, Valerie’s Place will be accessible through the App Store, Google Play, and Valerie’s Place website. Subscription options will start at a modest £2 per month, providing fans with early access and exclusive content.
Valerie Bertinelli’s launch of Valerie’s Place marks a significant step in her career, reinforcing her commitment to connect with her audience in an authentic and innovative way. As she embarks on this new journey, her fans can look forward to a platform that embodies her passion for cooking, storytelling, and community.
