A collision involving two Disney World buses unfolded on a bustling street within the resort, as captured in a video showcasing the aftermath of the incident. The disruptive event took place on Buena Vista Drive on Friday, December 5, according to an eyewitness who shared details with PEOPLE Magazine.

The eyewitness, Ember Donley, a guest at the Orlando, Florida parks, recounted her experience while onboard one of the resort’s complimentary buses en route to the Animal Kingdom. As the bus made its way onto Buena Vista Drive, a primary thoroughfare linking several Disney World attractions and accommodations, Donley noticed a build-up of traffic. Sensing something amiss, she retrieved her camera to document the unfolding scene.

Donley revealed, “We noticed that there was something going on in front of us, which is when I got my camera out. That was when we saw the Mickey Mouse bus smashed into the Minnie Mouse bus.” She further described observing a white car positioned ahead of the two buses, seemingly impacted by the collision involving the Minnie Mouse bus.
In a video shared with PEOPLE, as their bus cautiously passed by the crash site, a Disney World transportation services vehicle could be seen stationed behind the buses, attending to the aftermath of the collision. As Donley’s bus drew closer, the extent of the damage became more apparent. The windshield of the Mickey Mouse bus had sustained severe damage, with visible residue on the ground believed to have originated from the rear of the Minnie Mouse bus.
Authorities clad in neon green vests were spotted within the Mickey Mouse bus, assessing the incident-induced damage. A police vehicle was also present at the scene, although the department affiliation was indiscernible from the footage. Donley noted her perception that the collision occurred when the Mickey Mouse bus attempted a lane change, ultimately rear-ending the Minnie Mouse bus forcefully.
Upon sharing her video on TikTok, Donley received feedback indicating that the Minnie Mouse bus had incurred substantial damage, with one comment asserting the bus was irreparably wrecked. An individual identifying themselves as a family member of the white sedan’s driver involved in the collision corroborated the impact experienced, expressing gratitude that despite the harrowing experience, all parties emerged physically unscathed.
Efforts to obtain statements from Disney World representatives regarding the incident are ongoing, with PEOPLE seeking insight from the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, responsible for delivering fire and EMS services to the Disney World Resort, yet to receive a response at the time of reporting.
The collision underscores the vigilance required in safeguarding the safety of visitors within bustling tourist environments. Such incidents serve as reminders of the unforeseen risks present even in meticulously managed locations like Disney World, prompting stakeholders to continually review and enhance safety protocols for the protection and well-being of all guests.
