BÉIS, known for its travel gear and accessories, made the big reveal on December 4th, introducing a collection that merges utility with style. The collection, titled “BÉIS x Chipotle: The To Go Collection,” will be available for purchase starting from Monday, December 8th, at 6 a.m. PT via the BEÍS app and later on beistravel.com at 9 a.m. PT.
Fans in the Los Angeles area can look forward to a public pop-up event at Chipotle Larchmont on December 6th and 7th. The event will offer attendees photo opportunities and exclusive early access to shop the collection. For those unable to attend, a countdown on the BÉIS website is already underway, providing a sneak peek at the items in the collection along with their respective price points.

Among the collection’s highlights are silver rollers in carry-on and large sizes, luggage covers in a Chipotle bag-inspired hue, a take-out tote bag fitting a Chipotle bowl, a burrito holder sling designed to keep burritos warm, and a Chipotle napkin sling with external napkin pockets. The first 5,000 orders in the U.S. and Canada will include a free entrée code from Chipotle, adding an extra treat for customers.
CEO of BÉIS, Adeela Hussain Johnson, expressed that the aim of the capsule collection was to create elevated pieces inspired by real Chipotle takeout scenarios, becoming must-have items for superfans. While some superfans have praised the collection for its creativity and functionality, others have voiced their disapproval online. Comments on social media platforms like Facebook varied from calling it “atrocious” to labelling it as “tacky.”
Despite the mixed reactions, the collaboration has found more favour on Instagram, with users appreciating the unique fusion of the two brands. Overall, the collection has sparked conversation and controversy online, with supporters and critics voicing their opinions on the unconventional partnership. As the release date nears, it remains to be seen how this collaboration will be received by fashion and food enthusiasts alike.
