The cause of death for Brazilian influencer Barbara Jankavski, known as “Boneca Desumana” or “inhuman doll”, has been revealed after she was found deceased inside the home of 51-year-old public defender Renato Campos Pinto de Vitto on November 2. Jankavski, who was often likened to a ‘Human Barbie’, had a significant online following with over 55,000 followers on Instagram and 344,000 on TikTok, where she shared her numerous cosmetic procedures.

According to reports, following a forensic analysis by the Technical-Scientific Police and an investigation by the São Paulo Civil Police, it was concluded that Jankavski’s death was due to accidental cocaine use, as per local outlet g1. However, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of São Paulo, along with Jankavski’s family, have requested the case to be presented before the Jury Court, raising suspicions that her death may have been a result of foul play.
Details from a police report obtained by CNN Brasil revealed that De Vitto informed authorities that he had engaged in sexual activities with Jankavski on the night of her passing and that they had consumed illicit substances together. Upon noticing that Jankavski was unresponsive after falling asleep, he immediately called for medical assistance, attempting to revive her for nine minutes until paramedics arrived and confirmed her demise.
