In a surprising revelation, Bunnie Xo disclosed that it had been a whopping 20 years since Jelly Roll, who is 40 years old, last shaved his beard. This revelation came after some confusion arose from an Instagram post she made on Nov. 13, stating that she had never seen her husband without facial hair in their nearly 10 years together.

During the podcast, Bunnie Xo clarified, “The internet got it wrong. Like, all the news articles are like, ‘Oh, he hasn’t shaved his face in 10 years.’ No, no, no, no. He hasn’t shaved his face in 20 years.” She added, “This is the first time he’s ever seen his face without hair.”

The reason behind this drastic change was attributed to Jelly Roll’s remarkable weight loss journey. Having once weighed 550 lbs., the musician began shedding weight in 2022 and had lost 110 lbs. by November 2024. By April 2025, he had reportedly shed close to 200 lbs.

Bunnie Xo shared that due to these significant physical transformations, her husband was experiencing a newfound awareness of his appearance. She described the moment of him shaving his beard as “really special,” emphasising how much she appreciates his new look and hopes he maintains it, even suggesting he sports a ‘weird cop mustache.’

Adoringly, Bunnie Xo mentioned her affection for her husband’s ‘little jawline’ and ‘little peanut head,’ comparing it to Beetlejuice. Despite finding it slightly “weird” to see him without his signature beard, she expressed her love and admiration for him, affirming that she kisses him constantly.
