During a recent interview on Bobby Bones’ BobbyCast, Dierks, 49, opened up about his routine on the road and how it differs from when he’s at home with his family. He explained that upon returning home, getting a good night’s sleep becomes a top priority for him and Cassidy. Despite their strong bond, they have found that sleeping separately works best for them.

Dierks shared that over the years, he has carefully considered his sleeping habits and preferences, which led to the decision to have separate sleeping spaces. He detailed how he meticulously arranges his pillows for optimal comfort and how Cassidy’s sleeping patterns differ from his own. This discrepancy eventually led to the couple choosing to sleep in different rooms.

The singer explained that he removed their shared bed and replaced it with two separate platform beds, box springs, and mattresses. This setup allows Cassidy the freedom to move around as she pleases without disturbing Dierks’ sleep. Although they are currently sleeping in separate rooms, the couple has expressed a desire to reunite and share a bedroom again in the near future.

Dierks and Cassidy’s relationship dates back to their teenage years when they first met in eighth grade. After years of being in each other’s lives, they eventually tied the knot in December 2005. The couple shares three children together – daughters Evalyn Day and Jordan Catherine, and son Knox.

Despite their unconventional sleeping arrangements, Dierks emphasised the importance of their children in strengthening their relationship.
