Kyle Ritchie, Juana’s grandson-in-law, recounted the frightening ordeal, explaining that the bees initially targeted Juana’s mother as she was taking out the garbage. When they realized Juana was still outside, covered in bees, they had to act fast to help her. Ritchie described how they used whatever they could find, like raid and rubbing alcohol, to try to fend off the bees as they called for assistance.

San Roque, from Happy Plumbing, happened to drive by with his colleague at that moment and immediately noticed the distressing scene. He shared that when he saw Juana in trouble, he felt a sense of duty to help, driven by the thought that she could easily have been someone’s grandmother. Without hesitation, he rushed to Juana’s aid, using a fire extinguisher to try and disperse the bees that were attacking her.

The situation quickly escalated as the bees swarmed towards them, leaving both Juana and San Roque vulnerable to multiple stings. Despite the danger, San Roque continued his rescue mission, ensuring Juana’s safety and doing his best to protect her from the relentless bees.
