Chrishell Stause, known for her appearances on the reality series “Selling Sunset,” has announced the end of her relationship with Australian musician G Flip after more than four years together. The actress took to Instagram on 26 October to share her emotional message in a video, revealing the couple’s separation while emphasising that they have chosen to part ways with mutual respect and love.

In a touching response, Jason Oppenheim, Stause’s ex-partner who she dated briefly before beginning her relationship with G Flip, offered his support in the comments section of her post. “I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love,” he wrote. Oppenheim praised both Stause and G Flip as “beautiful people” and reassured Stause that a separation doesn’t equate to failure.
Oppenheim’s comment highlighted the supportive bond he shares with Stause despite their past. He affirmed, “There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process.” He added that she is “very loved” and that he remains available to provide any assistance she may need.

Stause and Oppenheim, who both joined the “Selling Sunset” cast in 2019, had their relationship prominently featured on the show. Fans got a glimpse into their romance as well as the aftermath of their breakup. Stause has, however, indicated that she will not be participating in the upcoming tenth season of the programme.

Many of Stause’s friends within the celebrity sphere have also reached out to offer their support. Notable figures, including singer Jana Kramer, actress Alison Holker, and hairstylist Chris Appleton, shared heartfelt messages in the comments, expressing their love and positivity during this challenging time.
In her Instagram video, Stause candidly addressed her followers from her closet, expressing the complexity of her emotions. “I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together,” she stated, highlighting the mutual decision they’ve come to, marked by respect for each other. She acknowledged the difficulty in sharing such news, saying, “I don’t know what else to say you guys. I feel like a little bit of a failure.”
Stause reflected on her past relationships, admitting that she often feels her own criticisms weigh heavily on her. “There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself,” she confessed. Struggling to process the split, she pointed out the importance of healing, stating, “It’s hard. It’s painful.”
The actress further elaborated on her romantic perspective, describing herself as a “lover girl” who swings for the fences in love. “I miss. Or maybe you don’t miss, maybe these are the life and seasons you’re meant to have with people… Maybe it’s just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined,” she reflected, showing a mature understanding of her relationship dynamics.
Toward the conclusion of her message, Stause conveyed her gratitude for the support from her fans throughout her relationship with G Flip. She maintained that she will always love G, despite the end of their romantic connection. “This sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy,” she added, indicating her commitment to wishing well for both herself and G Flip moving forward.
Shortly after Stause’s poignant video, G Flip released a statement on their own Instagram. “After 4+ years, Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection, and I cherish our memories together deeply,” they wrote, also expressing their current emotional struggle, which was described as “very heavy.”
Stause and G Flip’s relationship became public during a reunion episode of “Selling Sunset” in May 2022, just months following her separation from Oppenheim. During this time, Stause expressed how important G Flip was to her and shared that they identified as non-binary, using they/them pronouns. The couple’s love story had its beginnings on Halloween 2021 and culminated in a secret wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2023, celebrated later with symbolic ceremonies.
As fans and friends rally around both Stause and G Flip, it is clear that despite the heartbreak, their shared memories and connections will remain an essential part of their lives.
