Paul McCartney, the legendary musician, has recently revealed a new set of tour dates for his highly anticipated Got Back Tour, which encompasses his first extensive series of performances in North America since 2022. The 83-year-old rocker is scheduled to grace the stage for 19 concerts in total, spanning across 16 different cities. The tour is set to commence in Palm Desert, California, on September 29th and conclude in Chicago on November 25th, promising an unforgettable musical experience for fans.
McCartney’s upcoming shows in Palm Springs and Albuquerque are particularly noteworthy as they mark his inaugural performances in these locations. A press release promoting the event exclaimed, “With songs like ‘Hey Jude,’ ‘Live and Let Die,’ ‘Band on the Run,’ ‘Let It Be,’ and many more, the Paul McCartney live experience delivers everything a music aficionado could desire from a rock concert and beyond. It includes hours of the greatest hits spanning the last 60 years of music – featuring dozens of songs from Paul’s solo career, Wings, and, of course, The Beatles discography that have resonated as the soundtracks of our lives.”

The Got Back Tour originally kicked off in 2022 and ran successfully across the globe throughout 2023 and 2024. McCartney’s passion for live performances was evident in February when he surprised fans with three unforgettable shows at the Bowery Ballroom in New York. Despite the limited capacity of the venue (575 seats), tickets sold out almost instantaneously, with each show lasting over two hours. Remarkably, ticket prices remained accessible, with entry costing only $50.

Paul McCartney’s enduring friendship with Ringo Starr, the sole surviving members of The Beatles, was also exemplified during these intimate performances. As McCartney engaged the audience in sing-alongs to classics like “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” and “Let It Be,” he underscored the profound impact of their music on generations of fans worldwide. In a heartwarming moment, he shared with the crowd that his New Year’s resolution was to complete a new album, expressing his dedication to both touring and creating new music simultaneously.
The Got Back tour promises to captivate audiences with McCartney’s iconic band lineup, featuring Paul “Wix” Wickens on keyboards, Brian Ray on bass/guitar, Rusty Anderson on guitar, and Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums
