The recall encompasses approximately 18,280 units in the United States, with an additional 2,325 units sold in Canada. The high chairs measure around 30 inches tall, 21 inches wide and 23 inches long, available in various colours including blue, black, natural wood/white, warm wood/gray, and white. Consumers who possess the affected product are urged to discontinue its use immediately and reach out to Bugaboo for a complimentary repair kit. The kit includes an Allen key and new screws to be installed in the chair’s legs to secure the structure.

Bugaboo has been proactive in contacting known purchasers of the high chairs directly to address the issue. To date, the company has received 22 reports of the legs detaching from the product, resulting in 13 cases of minor injuries.
