According to Westerly law enforcement authorities, officers responding to a call on Everett Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. stumbled upon what appeared to be a human leg bone. Subsequently, the remains were carefully transported to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.
