Justice Dept. Alleges 2 Men Led ‘One of the Most Disturbing’ Child Exploitation Networks Authorities Have Ever Seen

The US Department of Justice has revealed shocking allegations against two men accused of leading one of the most disturbing child exploitation networks ever seen. Leonidas Varagiannis and Prasan Nepal were reportedly arrested on charges of operating an international child exploitation enterprise known as ‘764.’

Attorney General Pamela Bondi referred to the accused as orchestrating a heinous online child exploitation network that terrorized, abused, and deliberately targeted children. The network, known as “764,” is said to have espoused satanic and neo-Nazi ideologies, targeting children as young as 13.

The Justice Department’s announcement detailed that Varagiannis, also known as “War,” was apprehended in Thessaloniki, Greece, while Nepal, also known as “Trippy,” was arrested in North Carolina. Both men could face life imprisonment if convicted for their alleged involvement in the exploitation and abuse of minors.

Authorities claim that the two defendants were behind the production and distribution of child sexual abuse material, as well as engaging in grooming, manipulation, and extortion of minors. The network allegedly coerced children to produce degrading and explicit content under threat and manipulation, including self-harm, psychological torment, and extreme violence.

The group reportedly encouraged the creation of so-called “lorebooks” as digital currency within their community, with members trading content to recruit new members and maintain status. The allegations suggest that Varagiannis and Nepal set production expectations for new recruits, involving self-mutilation, sexual acts, animal harm, violence, and even threats of suicide and murder.

Members of the “764” have been arrested in the past year, with reports indicating the group’s affiliation with satanic and neo-Nazi beliefs. The arrests of Varagiannis and Nepal shed light on the extreme and disturbing activities carried out by the network, which preyed on vulnerable children online.

US Attorney Edward R. Martin Jr. emphasized the severity of the case, highlighting the extensive victim count and the harrowing nature of the exploitation. The response to such crimes, according to Martin, must be swift to ensure public safety, hold perpetrators accountable, and provide closure and healing for the victims.

The Justice Department’s efforts in dismantling such networks are crucial in combating online child exploitation and protecting vulnerable minors.
