The Lovings are accustomed to spotting bears near their home, but they were in for a surprise when they returned home from lunch on April 19 to find two black bears in their yard.

According to the Associated Press, the Lovings watched in amazement as the two bears made their way to the family’s backyard playset and one of the bears proceeded to climb up the structure’s ladder. The family wasted no time in grabbing their camera to document the playful bears in action. The video they captured includes a jaw-dropping moment when one of the bears demonstrates remarkable agility by climbing to the top of the playset, while the other bear waits below.

As captured in the footage, the bear at the top of the slide then proceeds to sit down, extend its front paws, and push itself down the slide, gliding smoothly to the ground on its belly. Sarah Loving shared with AP that the bears lingered for a few more minutes after their slide adventure, spending approximately 10 minutes in their yard before moving on.
