New Docuseries Claims Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Was ‘Awful’ and ‘Mean’ to Kim Porter

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of mistreating Kim Porter, his former partner and the mother of three of his children, in a new docuseries that also delves into the sexual misconduct allegations against the music mogul. The claim comes from Danyel Smith, the former editor-in-chief of Vibe, who is featured in the upcoming docuseries titled The Fall of Diddy. The series is set to air on Monday, Jan. 27 and Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 9 to 11 p.m. ET on Investigation Discovery and will be available for streaming on Max.
In an exclusive clip from the docuseries, Smith alleges, “I’ve seen [Combs] act around Kim in many ways that were just awful and very mean.” Smith recounts a specific incident where she claims Combs berated Porter in a nightclub, telling her she should be at home and not out, before publicly emptying her handbag in front of others. The Fall of Diddy also features interviews with other individuals, including accusers and former employees, shedding light on Combs’ alleged behaviour.
Kim Porter and Diddy shared three children together: Christian Combs and twins Jessie James Combs and D’Lila Combs. Quincy Brown, Porter’s son with R&B singer Al B. Responding to Smith’s accusation, Combs’ attorneys issued a statement to PEOPLE, criticising the docuseries for not providing sufficient time or details for Combs’ representatives to counter the allegations.
Currently facing federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, Combs has maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty.
