Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the upcoming movie “Wuthering Heights,” directed by Emerald Fennell and starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. This romantic drama, based on Emily Brontë’s renowned 1847 novel, is set to hit theatres on Valentine’s Day in 2026.
Fennell, the Oscar-winning director behind “Promising Young Woman” and “Saltburn,” has teamed up with Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerly once again for this project. The film features Robbie in the role of Catherine, with Elordi taking on the character of Heathcliff. The stellar cast also includes Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, and Shazad Latif.
In a recent teaser shared on Instagram, Robbie hinted at the excitement surrounding the movie, describing it as “bananas” and “brilliant.” The duo of Robbie and Elordi was first announced as the leads for Fennell’s adaptation in September 2024. Robbie is producing the film through her production company LuckyChap.

As the release date approaches, Robbie can also be seen in “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” alongside Colin Farrell, hitting theatres on September 19.
Elordi, known for his role in Fennell’s “Saltburn,” has been busy with projects like “Priscilla,” “Oh, Canada,” and “On Swift Horses.” Additionally, he is set to star in Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” and the third season of “Euphoria.”
“Wuthering Heights” promises to captivate audiences with its tale of love and tragedy when it premieres on February 13. As fans eagerly await the film’s release, the chemistry between Robbie and Elordi on screen is expected to deliver a memorable cinematic experience.
The duo’s on-screen dynamic, coupled with Fennell’s directorial prowess, sets the stage for a captivating retelling of this timeless romantic classic. Stay tuned for more updates and exclusives as the film’s release date draws near.
