Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon Reportedly Involved in 3-Car Collision

Former WWE CEO, Vince McMahon, has been reportedly involved in a 3-car collision in Connecticut. The incident occurred on the same day as the passing of wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries at the crash site, but McMahon was issued a summons and is required to appear in court for his involvement in the accident.
According to reports, the 79-year-old McMahon crashed his 2024 Bentley into the back of a 2023 BMW 430 along Route 15 in Westport before hitting a median wooden-beam guardrail on Thursday, July 24. Despite the severity of the collision, no major injuries were reported. A representative for McMahon and the Westport Police Department has not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident.
Debris from the crash struck a Ford Fusion after parts scattered across the two-lane highway. Photos from the scene depict McMahon’s Bentley with significant damage to both sides near the front tires, a missing tail light glass, and a scraped, dented, and detached driver-side fender. The airbags in both McMahon’s Bentley and the BMW were deployed, and all parties involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely resulting in an accident. He is set to appear in court at the end of the following month, as reported by TMZ. The crash coincidentally occurred on the day of Hogan’s passing, adding to the somber tone of the day within the WWE community.
In a statement following Hogan’s death, McMahon praised the wrestler as the greatest WWE Superstar of all time, highlighting his global impact and trailblazing career. McMahon acknowledged Hogan’s dedication to his audience and shared one of Hogan’s favourite sayings as a tribute to the late icon.
