A former executive at a casino owned by Donald Trump in Atlantic City claims that the now-President and his associate Jeffrey Epstein were once caught bringing underage girls onto the casino floor. The startling revelation was made by Jack O’Donnell, who oversaw Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in the 1980s, during an interview with CNN. O’Donnell described Epstein as Trump’s “best friend” during his time at the casino and alleged that the duo frequented the establishment together, sometimes accompanied by young women who were under 21 years old.

In a recent interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, O’Donnell recounted a specific incident from the late 1980s when Trump and Epstein visited Trump Plaza with three young women who were not of legal age to gamble. The next day, state casino commission inspectors approached O’Donnell, revealing that one of the girls was identified as the “No. 3-ranked tennis player in the world” and was only 19 years old. It is important to note that in New Jersey, anyone under 21 years old is prohibited from gambling in a casino.
Despite the violation of the law, O’Donnell claims that the commission gave Trump a lenient warning for the incident, urging him to caution the future president about the potential repercussions of such actions. O’Donnell asserted that he advised Trump against continuing his association with Epstein and being seen with underage women, particularly in the casino setting.
However, the White House has vehemently refuted O’Donnell’s claims, labelling him as a “liar and fraud” suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” The administration has dismissed the allegations as completely fabricated and unsubstantiated, highlighting the ongoing efforts by Trump to distance himself from his past relationship with Epstein in light of the latter’s 2019 child sex-trafficking case. The push for more transparency and evidence release from the Epstein case has been met with resistance, with officials citing the completion of the investigation and the absence of a purported “client list” as reasons for withholding information.
The reluctance of the Trump administration to disclose more details has caused a divide within his support base, with some supporters criticising those who continue to pursue information related to Epstein. This rift within the MAGA movement has led to tensions, with Trump openly disavowing supporters who engage with what he deems as unfounded conspiracy theories. The controversy surrounding Trump and Epstein’s past interactions has reignited debates over accountability and transparency in the political arena, with implications for the ongoing discourse around sexual exploitation and abuse.
As the allegations and denials continue to dominate headlines, the broader implications of the Trump-Epstein connection raise questions about ethical standards and public accountability. The challenge of reconciling personal relationships with public responsibilities underscores the complexities of political leadership and the demands for transparency in governance. The unfolding narrative serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding integrity and ethical conduct in positions of power, resonating with broader discussions on accountability and justice in society.
