Harry Jowsey, a well-known personality from the reality show “Too Hot To Handle,” is on a mission to raise awareness about skin health. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the 27-year-old Australian native revealed how his battle with skin cancer led him to co-found his own skincare brand, Pash.

Growing up in a country known for its harsh sun exposure, Jowsey confesses that he used to neglect the importance of protecting his skin. He admitted to frequently stepping out without adequate sunscreen, which eventually caught up with him when he received a skin cancer diagnosis in 2024. The news left him devastated, fearing that his life was in jeopardy.

Recalling the moment he got the diagnosis, Jowsey emotionally shared, “I started crying. I thought the world was ending. I called everyone, even my mother, apologizing for the shortness of my life.” The reality star underwent treatment for the skin cancer, which fortunately was successful, but the experience left a lasting impact on him.
Realizing the significance of skincare, Jowsey decided to take matters into his own hands. He teamed up with experts to create Pash, a skincare brand that focuses on protecting and repairing the skin barrier. Their first product, the Skin Rescue & Repair Lotion, contains key ingredients like Caviar Lime Extract, Aloe Vera, and Golden Seaweed, providing hydration and protection against environmental factors.
Despite his previous neglect of skincare, the skin cancer scare has transformed Jowsey’s approach to his skincare routine. He now emphasises the importance of regular dermatologist check-ups and diligently uses products from his own brand. Jowsey’s dedication to his skin health is evident, having gone through numerous tubes of Pash products himself.
While Pash’s current product line concentrates on repair and hydration, Jowsey disclosed plans for developing a sunscreen. He acknowledged the complexities involved in creating an effective SPF product due to regulatory requirements but assured that they are working towards offering comprehensive sun protection in the future.
In a heartfelt message to men who may overlook skincare, Jowsey stressed the significance of self-care and discipline. He expressed regret for not prioritizing his skin health earlier in life and encouraged others to take proactive steps to maintain healthy skin. Jowsey’s journey serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of skincare and regular skin screenings, especially in sun-exposed regions.
As Jowsey continues his advocacy for skin health through Pash, his personal story resonates with individuals striving to prioritise self-care. Through his brand, he aims to empower others to embrace a holistic approach to skincare, underscoring the transformative impact of conscious skincare practices. Harry Jowsey’s resilience and determination in the face of adversity exemplify his commitment to raising awareness about skin health and inspiring others to take charge of their well-being.
