The stars of the beloved sitcom *Full House* came together this week at a fundraising event in Beverly Hills, marking a notable reunion for both the actors and their fans. The event, held on Tuesday, 13 October, was organised by the Scleroderma Research Foundation and took place at the luxurious Beverly Wilshire Hotel, part of the Four Seasons chain.
Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, and Jodie Sweetin were all in attendance, creating a nostalgic moment for those who have followed their careers since the show originally graced our screens. This occasion was particularly significant for Bure, who had not appeared publicly with her former co-stars since a reunion in 2024.

At the event, Stamos, aged 63, was honoured with the prestigious Bob Saget Legacy Award. This recognition is named after the late comedian and actor Bob Saget, who co-starred with the group on *Full House*. Saget was known for his advocacy work related to scleroderma, a disease that claimed the life of his sister, Gay Saget, in 1994 at the age of 47.
Reflecting on his late friend, Stamos articulated his noble mission during an interview on the red carpet, acknowledging the profound impact that Saget had on both their lives and the importance of continuing his legacy. His sentiments were echoed by Bure, who remarked, “We all love Bob so much. He came to this event year after year.”
Bure elaborated on the purpose of the gathering, emphasising the dual aim of raising funds and awareness for scleroderma, a condition that has unfortunately affected many lives, including those in their circle. “It’s just so incredible and meaningful,” she added, highlighting the deep sense of commitment shared among the cast for the cause.
In a more light-hearted moment, the four actors took to social media recently, appearing in a playful Instagram video uploaded by Loughlin, who is now 62. This reunion clip featured a nostalgic reference to the show, with the group cheerfully declaring, “Wake up San Francisco,” a nod to the fictional news show that they co-hosted in the series.
Loughlin also took the opportunity to humourously recreate her character’s return to *Wake Up, San Francisco*, providing a dose of nostalgia for fans as she lip-synced a comical introduction back to the set after maternity leave. This fun interaction serves as a reminder of the camaraderie shared among the cast, even after years apart.
Loughlin’s Instagram comeback is especially noteworthy, considering her previous involvement in a highly publicised college admissions scandal. In March 2019, she and her ex-husband, Mossimo Giannulli, faced accusations of conspiring to secure their daughters’ admission into the University of Southern California through fraudulent means. Both pleaded guilty to charges of wire and mail fraud in 2020, but Loughlin’s recent activities suggest a desire to re-establish her public persona.
Looking ahead, the *Full House* cast will reunite once again on Sunday, 18 October, as they participate in ‘90s Con at the Connecticut Convention Center. They will be joined by fellow cast members including Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger, and Andrea Barber, promising nostalgic moments for devoted fans of the iconic series.
As the actors continue to navigate their careers and personal lives, their unwavering bond from their *Full House* days remains a source of joy for both them and their supporters. The blend of nostalgia, philanthropy, and playful engagement with fans speaks volumes about the enduring legacy of *Full House* and its beloved stars.
