In an insightful conversation with PEOPLE, actor Brandon Sklenar shared his experiences while filming the modern Western film *The Rescue*, where he takes on the role of a former rodeo cowboy attempting to rescue his kidnapped daughter. The movie is scheduled for release in theatres on January 29.

Sklenar, known for his role in the *Yellowstone* spinoff *1923*, expressed enthusiasm about the unique opportunity to collaborate extensively with animal co-stars on set.
