In a remarkable achievement, a family from Iowa has set a new Guinness World Record for having five generations celebrate their birthdays on the same day, September 14th. This extraordinary lineage stretches back to 1907, highlighting a unique tradition that has persisted for over a century.

Emma Bell, a member of this extraordinary family, shared the story of how this birthday custom began with her great-great-grandfather, Wilber Harlow, who was born in 1907. The lineage continues with Emma’s great-grandmother, Addie Harlow, born in 1949, followed by her grandfather, Fred, who celebrated his birth in 1972, and then Emma herself, who was born in 1997.
