During an interview at the PEOPLE/Entertainment Weekly/Shutterstock studio, Paulson, 51, expressed her enthusiasm for the connection she has forged with Watts, 56. Their friendship has deepened significantly since they began working together on both *Closing Night* and their joint project, which debuted on Hulu in autumn 2025.
Reflecting on their dynamic, Paulson likened their relationship to “two puppies in a box,” explaining that despite having limited scenes together in the first season of *All’s Fair*, their time promoting the show allowed them to discover a shared chemistry. “We really have this sort of sisterly element,” she shared. “We’re always kind of poking at each other and giggling. I find her incredibly exciting to act opposite because she is so open and has a lot of unexpected energy.”
In *All’s Fair*, Paulson and Watts star alongside Kim Kardashian, Teyana Taylor, Niecy Nash-Betts, and Glenn Close as members of a group of divorce attorneys who establish their own all-female law firm.
