Television personality Amanda Kloots has confirmed that she has ended her romantic relationship with retired tennis professional Justin Gimelstob. The couple, who made their first public appearance together in April 2025, decided to part ways after a year of dating, while maintaining a positive friendship.

In an interview with Page Six, Kloots, who is still navigating life after the loss of her husband Nick Cordero in July 2020 due to COVID-19 complications, explained the status of her love life. During her attendance at the 8th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards on September 9, Kloots was asked if she was still dating Gimelstob. She responded, “No, not currently,” while acknowledging their continued friendship.
Despite the dissolution of her romantic relationship, Kloots has not lost faith in love. “I believe in love. I definitely want that in my life,” she shared, emphasising a hopeful perspective. Currently, her primary focus is on self-improvement and raising her son, Elvis, who is seven years old and was born to her and Cordero.
Kloots and Gimelstob first garnered public attention as a couple during the “An Unforgettable Evening” event, which took place in Beverly Hills in April 2025. At that time, Kloots described their budding romance as “very new” and “absolutely lovely.” Reflecting on their relationship, Gimelstob expressed his desire for their connection to remain in the “courting” phase, which they had originally embarked on together.
The retired tennis player revealed that he had admired Kloots long before they officially began dating, even reminiscing about what he considered their first date at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas. However, Kloots clarified that their relationship did not truly begin until about a year and a half later.
Gimelstob, in his remarks about Kloots, spoke highly of her character and resilience. He described her as “an incredibly special person” and praised her grace and strength in the face of adversity. “She cares about people. She’s generous in spirit. She has a beautiful energy and is an amazing athlete,” he said, highlighting various aspects of her personality that he admires.
This romance marked a hopeful chapter for Kloots, who has shared her journey of grief publicly. Her late husband, Nick Cordero, was a well-known actor and musician whose untimely death left a profound impact on her life. Kloots has since become an advocate for mental health and well-being, aiming to inspire others who may be facing similar circumstances.
Gimelstob, prior to his relationship with Kloots, was married to Cary Sinnott, with whom he shares a 13-year-old son, Brandon. The former couple has maintained a cordial relationship focused on co-parenting their child. Kloots has openly praised Gimelstob’s parenting skills, noting, “He’s a wonderful man, wonderful father, and I love how he takes care of me.”
Looking ahead, Kloots remains dedicated to becoming the best version of herself for Elvis and continuing to navigate her journey of love and healing. Despite the challenges she has faced and the recent end of her relationship, she stands firm in her belief that love will find its way back into her life.
As Kloots continues to share her story, her focus on self-growth and the responsibility of motherhood stands at the forefront. Through her professional successes and personal life, she aims to set an example for her son and others who may find themselves in a similar situation.
With her eyes set on the future, Amanda Kloots embraces each day with a renewed sense of purpose and hope.
