Emilie Kiser, a 27-year-old influencer, is poignantly remembering her late son Trigg as she marks what would have been his fifth birthday. Tragically, Trigg lost his life at just three years old due to a drowning accident in May 2025. On Tuesday, July 14, Emilie took to her Instagram Stories to post an emotional tribute, accompanied by a touching photograph of Trigg’s hand in hers.

In her heartfelt message, Emilie expressed deep sorrow and love for her son, saying, “I miss you all day every day. Happy 5th birthday to the boy who made me a mum.” She continued, “I wish more than anything that I could squeeze you, hear your laugh, and spend another day with you. I love you forever and ever, Trigg.”

The tragic accident occurred on May 12, 2025, when Trigg fell into the family pool while Emilie was away from home. At the time, her husband Brady Kiser was caring for their younger son, Teddy, who was only a few weeks old. Despite efforts to save him, Trigg passed away on May 18, just six days after the devastating incident.

In addition to her memories of Trigg, Emilie and Brady are now a family of four, with one-year-old Teddy and the exciting news that they are expecting a third child. Emilie shared this significant development on Instagram on July 3, revealing a photo of her baby bump to her followers.
Gratitude and hope were central themes in Emilie’s announcement. “We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family,” she wrote. “This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days.”
Wishing to maintain some privacy, Emilie made it clear that she would decide how much of her pregnancy journey she would share publicly. “As I stated last year, my family’s privacy will always be my priority. Because of that, I’m not sure how much I will be sharing about this pregnancy and next phase of life, but I appreciate your understanding as I navigate those boundaries,” she noted.
This pregnancy has brought Emilie and Brady renewed hope, which they cherish during a challenging time following Trigg’s death. Emilie expressed gratitude for the support she has received, stating, “This baby has already brought so much hope and joy into our home, and we are treasuring every moment of it together. Thank you in advance for all of the love, well wishes, and support as we navigate this next chapter of our growing family.”
Emilie has previously spoken candidly about her grief journey since Trigg’s passing. In June 2026, she made an appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast, “On Purpose,” where she shared her insights on coping with the loss of a child. During the interview, she reflected on the abruptness of life changes that such a tragedy brings.
“Losing a child really shows you in the scariest, most real way possible just how quickly life can change, and how quickly life can be literally taken away,” Emilie explained during the podcast. Despite the overwhelming challenges, she shared her commitment to being a loving mother to Teddy. “I always try to remind myself that I have a choice to make… I can either let this completely derail me more than it already has or I can do everything in my power to be the best mum I possibly can for him.”
Emilie Kiser’s journey reflects the strength and resilience of a mother facing unimaginable loss while striving to honour her son’s memory and nurture her family. As she prepares for the arrival of her third child, Emilie continues to navigate her path through grief while finding joy in the new beginnings ahead.
