Moore was last seen on the evening of Thursday, June 11, after signing into the Planet Fitness gym at around 6:40 p.m. She is known to have worked as a personal trainer at a nearby location, Wolf’s Fitness Center, and was reported missing the following day. According to reports, her husband notified law enforcement when she failed to return home.

Witnesses indicated that Moore was seen walking towards a wooded area located behind a Lowe’s Home Improvement store adjacent to the gym. Lexington Police Department Inspector Missy Silcox noted that it was “very out of character” for Moore to vanish without a trace, raising concerns about her wellbeing.

In an attempt to locate Moore, police deployed a drone in the last known area of her whereabouts. On Monday, June 15, law enforcement officers carried out a thorough ground search with the support of other emergency services. Authorities clarified that the operation was focused on ruling out specific areas rather than a recovery mission.
Silcox also confirmed that, despite the ongoing search, there are currently no indications of foul play or immediate danger to Moore. Authorities believe she had her mobile phone on her at the time she went missing, but it is not connecting with any networks, adding a layer of urgency to the situation.
At the time of her disappearance, Moore was wearing an olive green zip-up hoodie paired with black athletic pants. She is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. As additional details emerged, police reiterated that prior reports of her being found were inaccurate, and clarified that she is not known to have a vehicle.
In light of the case, the police have called upon the public for assistance, encouraging anyone with information to reach out. Detective Santoro can be contacted directly at 803-358-7271 or via email at asantoro@lexsc.gov. Additionally, tips can be submitted anonymously through Midlands Crimestoppers by calling 1-888-CRIME-SC or visiting their website.
“We’re just hoping tips come in,” Silcox stated, stressing that even the most minor piece of information could significantly aid in solving the case. The local community remains hopeful that someone may have seen something that could lead to Moore’s whereabouts.
Many people in the region have expressed their concerns on social media, sharing information about Moore in an effort to raise awareness. The Lexington Police have expressed their dedication to finding her, and as the investigation continues, they are appealing for public engagement in the search efforts.
Updates on the situation have been closely monitored by the media, with the Lexington Police Department indicating they will share information as it becomes available. The hope remains that Moore can be located safely and reunited with her family.
