Matt Roloff, the star of the popular TLC series *Little People, Big World*, has put a portion of his family farm back on the market. The 16 acres being offered for £2.6 million marks a significant attempt to sell the property, situated in Helvetia, Oregon, which has been a backdrop for the reality TV show since it first aired.

This isn’t the first time Roloff has attempted to sell a portion of the farm. Back in May 2022, he listed the same land for £4 million but later pivoted to renting it out as a short-term holiday retreat. In August 2025, he revised the asking price to £2.8 million, highlighting the ongoing struggle to find a buyer.
The Roloff family farm has been renowned for its annual events, including the much-loved Pumpkin Festival held every October. As part of the listing, the property features a spacious six-bedroom main house, a classic red barn adorned with modern office spaces, and innovative features suited for various events. Unique attractions on the farm, such as a pirate ship and a stone castle, further enhance its charm.
Matt, now 64, has lived on the property with his ex-wife Amy Roloff and their four children—twins Jeremy and Zach, daughter Molly, and son Jacob. In a recent YouTube video, he disclosed that he had offered his children the chance to purchase the farmhouse, but they had declined, preferring to maintain their own homes instead.
The main residence itself boasts an impressive 5,825 square feet, complete with five-and-a-half bathrooms, dedicated office spaces, a media room, and even a library. The outside of the property features 4,000 square feet of red barn space that has been repurposed for various entrepreneurial pursuits, including conference facilities and rustic event spaces.
In a press release announcing the re-listing, Matt expressed his love for the farm, noting the cherished memories that have been formed there. He indicated that the decision to sell the 16.6-acre slice of the estate comes as a natural progression for the family, affirming that he intends to continue living on the adjacent 90-acre property.
He reflected on the importance of community, stating, “We’d love for the next owners to be great neighbours. We’ve already planted for pumpkin season, and the patch will continue this year. It’s just too much fun and we love seeing everyone!”
In addition to the impressive home and barn, the farm is equipped with ample outdoor amenities, including a swimming pool, hot tub, and various landscaped areas that encourage relaxation and recreation. Visitors can enjoy scenic tree-lined walking trails and even a picturesque creek and pond.
The farm has been a significant part of the family’s history, often leading to emotional discussions among them. Matt underscored the complexities of maintaining the property during a previous sale attempt, particularly regarding relationships with his children and his then-girlfriend. Tensions had flared over the future of the property, but now it seems that he has settled on the idea of new beginnings.
Reflecting on the future, Matt said, “As I approach my 64th birthday, this old grandpa has learned that less is truly more.” His focus seems to have shifted toward simpler joys in life, such as spending quality time with his grandchildren and exploring new television opportunities, including an exciting project currently in the works.
With the reality series originally premiering in 2006 and running for 25 seasons, the Roloff family farm will always hold a special place in the hearts of fans. However, as the series transitions into its next chapter, including changes in cast dynamics, Matt seems resolute in embracing the changes ahead, regardless of whether the show is renewed for more seasons.
As the sale progresses, it remains to be seen who will take ownership of the beloved Roloff family farm and continue the legacy of joy and community that has characterized it for so many years. Interested buyers and fans alike will be watching closely as this iconic property embarks on a new chapter.
