Daryl-Ann Denner, the founder of Nuuds, recently announced the arrival of her fourth child, a daughter named Robbie Mae. The baby girl, born on June 5, weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces, measuring 19 inches long. Daryl-Ann and her husband, Daniel, who already have three other children—Rhett, aged 7; Remi, aged 5; and Ryan, aged 23 months—expressed their excitement about expanding their family.

Robbie Mae’s name carries a deep familial significance, adapted from the traditional name Robert, which has been used across multiple generations of boys in Daryl-Ann’s family. She shared her love for incorporating masculine names for girls, noting that her second daughter is named Ryan Jo. “It felt like a nod to our family name, but for a girl!” Daryl-Ann explained in an interview with PEOPLE.
Describing her birthing experience, Daryl-Ann revealed that she opted for an unmedicated birth again, drawing from her positive first experience. “Believe it or not, the first one was so awesome I had to do it again,” she remarked. The delivery was reportedly swift, with the baby arriving after just one push in under a minute. Daryl-Ann chose to keep the baby’s gender a surprise, which added to the special moment of welcoming her daughter into the world.
The adjustment period for the family has been manageable, according to Daryl-Ann. She noted that each new child brings a greater sense of joy and familiarity to the family dynamic. “Honestly, it’s been great. With each kid, the experience gets so much more fun and less intimidating,” she shared. The other siblings have welcomed Robbie Mae with open arms, showering their new sister with affection.
Rhett, the eldest child and the only boy in the family, initially hoped for a brother upon learning about the new arrival. Daryl-Ann allowed him to discover the baby’s gender ahead of the rest of the family. When he first held Robbie Mae, his reaction was heartwarming. “He was just staring at her with so much love,” she recounted. As the Denner household grows, Daryl-Ann has found that while there are challenges, especially during bedtime, there are also cherished moments that make motherhood rewarding. “The hardest time of day is when everyone needs to go to bed—all at the same time—while also taking care of a baby,” she explained. However, she highlighted that her favourite moment comes right after the kids settle down for the night. “I just sit there for hours holding the baby before I go to bed,” she said, relishing those tranquil moments.
Daryl-Ann has embraced her role as a mother of four and expressed enthusiasm for the new experiences it brings.
