Cary was driving the vehicle, with Reyes and the 17-year-old as passengers. At the same time, a 36-year-old woman was driving a Honda CRV when Cary’s car rear-ended it. This collision caused Cary to lose control, leading the car to swerve onto the highway’s right shoulder and collide with a stationary minivan. The minivan, which was occupied by a passenger and three children, overturned during the crash. The minivan’s occupants sustained injuries, with the driver being seriously injured and the children suffering minor injuries, according to NBC 10.
Tragically, Cary and Reyes lost their lives at the scene of the accident.
