Waterhouse, 34, the British actress and model, spoke with Variety on 28 May, revealing her hopes of expanding their family. Throughout the discussion, she talked about not only her personal life but also her upcoming album, “Loveland.” When asked about her desire to have more children, she expressed enthusiasm about the prospect. “I feel like I’m in it for the long run,” Waterhouse explained. “I just want to keep creating and maybe have a larger family… like max two more kids. That would be cool.”

The couple’s journey to parenthood began when Waterhouse disclosed her pregnancy during a performance in November 2023. Since then, she has been spotted at various red-carpet events, often tenderly showcasing her baby bump. Their first child was born just a few months later, with the news first reported by the Daily Mail. Photographs emerged of the duo in Los Angeles, where they were seen pushing a pink stroller during a stroll in the city.

In these photos, Pattinson, 40, donned a casual MoMA sweatshirt paired with a puffy Patagonia jacket, while Waterhouse opted for a stylish black trench coat, accessorised with a baseball cap and sunglasses. The couple’s desire to maintain privacy around their daughter has been evident, although they have shared a few heartfelt reflections on their experiences as new parents.
At the premiere of “Die My Love,” in which both Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence star, the actor discussed how the timeline of filming coincided with the birth of their daughter. “My daughter was basically the same age as a child in the movie,” he revealed. This connection allowed Pattinson to draw on his real-life parenting experiences while working on set. He admitted, “You don’t know—no one knows how to do it correctly. I mean, you can just try your best.”
In a recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Pattinson recounted a charming moment when his daughter recognised him in the trailer for “Dune: Part Three.” Describing how his daughter pointed out his distinctive new look as the character Scytale, he recalled, “She immediately recognised me, which is really strange from the trailer. Yeah, but she looked at my head and pointed it and said, ‘eggy on the top.’” He quipped about whether she was suggesting his head resembled an egg or if she simply meant he had something on top of it.
Pattinson also shared a humorous insight into his daughter’s early exposure to his filmography during an interview with GQ in January. When asked when he would start showing her his movies, he jokingly remarked that she had already seen quite a few. “If I’m not getting any respect, I’ll be like, ‘Who’s this? Who’s that on the screen?’ And she’s like… [blank stare],” he said. He added, “It begins with a D! Ends with a Y!” while chuckling about how she has been watching “Mickey-17.”
As the couple navigates their new chapter of parenthood, they continue to maintain a healthy balance between their careers and family life. Ultimately, both Waterhouse and Pattinson appear committed to their roles as loving parents while pursuing their professional aspirations. With ambitions of expanding their family in the future, the pair are clearly excited for what lies ahead as they embrace the challenges and joys of raising their daughter.
