### Triplet Brothers Achieve Unprecedented Academic Feat at Oviedo High School
In a remarkable academic achievement, triplet brothers Aiden, Brody, and Colin Aysun have all been named co-valedictorians at Oviedo High School in Florida after each attaining an identical Grade Point Average (GPA). This extraordinary feat is a testament not only to their hard work but also to the bond they share as siblings.
The brothers are set to embark on their next educational journey together at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Specialising in fields that align with their shared interests, Aiden plans to study mechanical engineering, Brody is interested in computer science, and Colin is eager to explore aerospace engineering.
Growing up side by side, the Aysun brothers have forged a strong camaraderie and have been each other’s support system throughout their academic life. Reflecting on their partnership, Aiden remarked on the humorous measures their parents took to distinguish between them at an early age, revealing, “Once we were out of labour, our parents painted our toenails to tell us apart. Because I mean, there’s no way to tell them apart.”
Their close-knit relationship has not been without its playful moments. The trio has been known to play pranks on teachers, particularly on April Fool’s Day when they would switch classrooms, leaving educators baffled. “We would always pull this stunt both in elementary school and middle school,” Aiden explained, illustrating their mischievous spirit.
The brothers have found that their shared experiences have made school less daunting. Brody articulated this sentiment, saying, “Whenever we would go somewhere new or meet new people, I would always have these guys. So when we go to our first day of school, and all the other kids are nervous, just having these guys next to me is really comforting.”
Throughout their education, Aiden, Brody, and Colin have opted for a collaborative approach rather than competing against one another. “I mean, it’s kind of nice,” Colin commented on their teamwork. “We help with homework or if we’re struggling. I have two people right here, always.”
Brody echoed this sentiment, highlighting that they support one another rather than vying for superiority. “It’s not like we’re fighting each other. We’re all trying to compete with each other in a way that encourages growth,” he said, accentuating the positive dynamics within their sibling relationship.
The brothers credit their shared academic success to their commitment to studying diligently together. Aiden explained their strategy, saying, “If we study hard and help each other out, there’s a good chance we’ll all achieve high grades, which means we’ll end up with the same GPA.”
As they prepare for the next chapter of their lives, the Aysuns are excited about the opportunities that await them at MIT. “Yeah, we’re all committed to MIT. We’re all committed,” they said in unison, clearly emphasising their joint ambition for the future. Colin has even expressed an interest in collaborating on a business venture with his brothers, aspiring to create a startup together.
Reflecting on the pivotal role their parents have played in their success, Colin offered heartfelt gratitude. “They sacrificed so much for us. We had the privilege of chasing our dreams because they exposed us to a range of clubs and activities when we were young,” he explained, highlighting the invaluable support that has facilitated their achievements.
